Array on a pantile roof
An all black array fitted across a pantile roof, finished at dusk in November.

Pantiles need a different fixing approach to plain tiles or slate. The hooks have to sit on the batten and the tile has to go back down over them without being packed up or cracked.
Get that wrong and you have a roof that leaks in three years. Get it right and there is nothing to see from the ground except the panels.
The panels finish against the tile courses, with the flashing carried down the side of the array.
