Array on a pantile roof
An all black array across a pantile roof, finished at dusk in November.
The panels finish against the tile courses, with the flashing carried down the side of the array.
Pantiles need a different fixing method to plain tiles or slate. The roof hooks have to sit on the batten, and the tile has to go back down over them without being packed up or cracked.
Get that wrong and the roof leaks in a few years. Get it right and there's nothing to see from the ground except the panels.
