Solar is the fastest growing part of the business, but everyday domestic electrical work is still the core of it. That means consumer units that are past their best, circuits that keep tripping, lights that won't come on, sockets in the wrong place, and kitchens that need rewiring before the units go in.
We work the same way on every job. We find out what's actually wrong before we quote, do the work to current wiring regulations, test it, and give you the certificate. If something comes up mid-job that changes the price, you'll hear about it before we carry on, not on the invoice.

What to expect
Have a look
For anything bigger than a small job, one of the team comes out to see it. For simple work, photos sent over the phone are usually enough.
Quote
A written price for the work we've discussed. If anything is uncertain, we say so rather than hiding it in a contingency.
Do the work
Dust sheets down, cables run properly, and the place left clean at the end of each day.
Test and certify
We test the installation and give you the certificate. Keep it with your house paperwork.

Common questions
How do I know if my consumer unit needs replacing?
Old boards with rewireable fuses or no RCD protection are the usual candidates. Age on its own isn't a reason to replace one, so it needs looking at. If yours is fine, we'll tell you it's fine.
Do you provide certificates?
Yes. Any work that alters your installation is tested and certified, and notifiable work is registered. Keep the paperwork, because a buyer or surveyor will ask for it.
Do you take on small jobs and call outs?
Yes. A tripping circuit, a socket in the wrong place, a light that won't come on, an alarm that keeps going off. Small jobs are a big part of our week.
Can you work around a kitchen or bathroom fitter?
Usually, yes. We do the first fix before the units or tiles go in, and the second fix once they're done. It helps if the dates are agreed in advance.
