Cookies

The public pages of this website don’t set any cookies. They don’t load analytics, advertising tags or social media embeds, and the fonts are served from this site rather than a third party. That’s why there’s no cookie banner. The only cookie the site uses is set when a member of staff signs in to the admin area, and it does nothing on the pages you see.

The enquiry forms

When you send an enquiry, we use the information you give us to reply to you and quote for the work. That means your name, phone number, email address, postcode and address if you give them, what you write about the job, and any photos you attach.

The form also records which page you were on when you sent it, and any campaign information in the web address, such as a code from a QR sticker or a link. We use that to see which adverts are working. It doesn’t identify you.

Where it goes

Enquiries are sent to us by email and, if it’s switched on, as a notification to a private team channel. The notification only carries the enquiry type and postcode, not your contact details.

A copy is also stored so we can keep track of enquiries. Only we can read it, after signing in. Photos are stored separately and are never on a public address. Your information is held in the United Kingdom and the European Union, and it isn’t sold, shared or used for anything other than replying to you.

How long it is kept

We keep enquiries while there’s a live job or quote, and for a reasonable period afterwards for warranty and certification purposes. Anything older than a year is deleted. If you’d like yours removed sooner, just ask.

Spam protection

To stop automated submissions, the forms check a hidden field and how quickly they were filled in, and limit how many enquiries can be sent from one connection. A shortened, one-way version of your IP address is used for that limit. The address itself isn’t stored.

QR codes

A QR code on the van or on printed material sends you to a page on this site through a short web address. When that happens we record the time, the code, the page you were sent to, the country your connection is in and the type of device, so we can tell which printed material is worth the cost. A shortened, one-way version of your IP address is used to tell repeat scans apart. Your IP address itself isn’t stored, no cookie is set, and none of it identifies you.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Call 07922 250 999 and we’ll sort it out.
