GSE in-roof system on a clay tile roof
A GSE in-roof array set into the clay tiles of an oak framed cartlodge, rather than mounted on rails above them.
GSE is an in-roof tray system. The panels drop into trays that replace the tiles where the array sits, so it finishes level with the roof and the clay tiles close back around it.
A garage, cartlodge or barn with a good aspect is often a better place for an array than the house. The roof is lower, access is easier, and the panels are less visible from the road.
The cable run back to the house needs planning and pricing properly, and that's usually what decides the cost rather than the roof itself.
