How should the panels sit on the roof?

On roofRails fixed over your existing tiles, with the panels clamped on top. The most common option, and the cheaper one.

An in roof array set flush into a tile roof, with the flashing visible along its edge.

In roofA tray system replaces the tiles under the panels, so they finish flush with the roof. Neater, and worth it if the roof is new or being re-tiled.Not sureMost people aren't. We'll recommend the right one when we see the roof.
